She had a role alongside Sandra Bullock in the film Murder by Numbers. Agnes Bruckner was born in 1985. Her first appearance on television was in the mid 1990s, and has since appeared in a variety of films, such as The Woods, Blue Car Murder by Numbers Blood and Chocolate and The Anna Nicole Story. Bruckner started her acting career when she was 11 years old. In 1999, she starred in The Bold and the Beautiful daytime soap and in several television pilots. When she was 15 years old, Bruckner got her first lead role in the independent production Blue Car (2002) in which she played an high schooler who was involved in an affair with her teacher, played by David Strathairn. The film writer Roger Ebert wrote that Bruckner plays the challenging script with a complete confidence. Bruckner has been nominated as the "Best Female Leading Actress" by Independent Spirit Award. She was brought up with two brothers and one sibling. Hungarian is her native language, which she practices regularly in order to remain fluent. Bruckner was a Hollywood Californian, being born of Hungarian parents and Russian mothers, who divorced. The paternal grandparents of Bruckner were German. She is the daughter of Budapest-born parents who came to Hungary. Her family emigrated to the U.S.A. through an Italian refugee camp in 1984. She has two brothers. She also have two sisters.
